This Privacy Policy explains how Clixasoft (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Kutvio mobile application (the “App”) and the website https://kutvio.com (the “Website”).
1. Summary
Kutvio is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require an account, we do not collect personal data through the App, and we do not upload your photos, videos, or audio to our servers.
2. Information the App accesses on your device
To provide video editing features, the App may ask for permission to access:
- Photos and videos (media library): to let you choose clips and images to edit, and to save your exported videos back to your gallery.
- Microphone: only when you choose to record a voiceover inside the App.
- Files / audio files: when you choose to import music or audio.
This content is processed locally on your device and is never sent to us or to any third party. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
3. Data stored on your device
Your projects, imported media copies, and temporary files (such as thumbnails and previews) are stored in the App’s private storage on your device. You can delete them at any time by deleting projects in the App, clearing the cache in the App’s settings, or uninstalling the App.
4. Information we do not collect
The App does not collect or share your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or usage analytics. The App does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
5. Sharing
When you choose to share an exported video (for example, to Instagram, TikTok, or WhatsApp), the App uses your device’s standard share feature. The receiving app’s own privacy policy applies to anything you share there.
6. The Website
The Website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking. It saves your language choice in your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device. The Website is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may collect technical information such as IP addresses for the security and operation of its service, as described in GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
7. Contacting us
If you email us for support, we use your email address and message only to respond to you and do not share them with third parties. You may ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
8. Children’s privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The App can be used without providing any personal information.
9. Data security
Because your content stays on your device, its security depends on your device’s protections (such as your passcode). We recommend keeping your device and the App updated.
10. Your rights
Since we do not collect or store personal data from the App, we hold no App data about you to access, correct, or delete. For requests about support emails you sent us, contact privacy@kutvio.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If the App ever starts collecting data, this policy will be updated before that change is released.
